Software Engineer III San Jose, CA CSG DNA Network Management, a part of Core Software Group of Cisco, develops products and solutions that delivers an open and extensible, software-driven architecture to accelerate and simplify enterprise network operations across the LAN and WAN for both wired and wireless networks. Our brand new Digital Network Architecture Center integrates with our industry leading products on the routing, switching, security, caching, and WAN Optimization Technologies to provide exceptional user experience. As part of this group you will be working on cutting edge technologies and directly contributing to our Digital Network Architecture Solution. Who You'll Work With?

You will be a part of a highly talented team that is developing Cisco Digital Network Architecture Center for the enterprise market segment. You will learn and contribute to most advanced techniques & algorithmic in the Digital Network Architecture Solution. You have the ability to: - Define, architect, design, and deliver new software features for DNAC platform - Write complete functional and design specs independently - Write portions of product specifications - Design & develop large portions of software independently and rapidly Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of software development experience on large scale, high-volume solutions - Proficient with open source Java technologies - Proficient working with relational databases - Experience building service-oriented solutions and RESTful microservices - Experience with writing both unit tests and integration tests - Experience with open source cloud solutions is a plus - Experience with container based deployment is a plus - Strong understanding of Java multithreading, concurrency and memory management - Experience with GUI development (Balsamiq, AngularJS, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) is highly desirable - Basic networking knowledge (tcp/ip, routing, switching, L4-L7 Protocols) is a must - Python or any other scripting knowledge is highly desirable - Experience with CI/CD process and tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins) is highly desirable - Experience with Agile Methodologies is highly desirable - Strong verbal and written communication skills is highly desirable - Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is a must Why Cisco?
