What You'll Do 

Your role will be Software Engineer, QA Engineering and you will be part of a state of the art technology team who is driving Cisco’s connected automotive innovation.

Opportunity to work with industry standard technologies and contribute to the connected automotive community.

Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the development of software for our connected automotive project. Day to day activities will involve understanding features and requirements for our platform, writing test plans and test procedures, developing test automation frameworks and implementing test scenarios within them, performing manual testing when appropriate, working in close contact with the development team, partners and customer representatives.

  • Commitment to Quality: Ability to ensure and commit to a higher standard of quality than usual in the face of time to market pressures
  • Have real passion for testing complex embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience in designing test systems in Python environment is necessary
  • Knowledge of networking (L2-L4) concepts is strongly desired
  • Experience in testing embedded products is strongly desired

Minimum qualifications

  • 2 years of Python programming, 3-4 years framework-based automation experience
  • Strong passion and experience in troubleshooting, debugging complex systems and possessing excellent problem-solving techniques
  • Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, great teammate
  • Experienced in tests execution, logging and tracking issues, and driving them till verification of bug fixes
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, with the ability to work multi-functionally

Desired skills

  • Hands on experience in automotive software testing and good understanding of the process and tools used in this space is desired
  • You should be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal managerial mentorship
  • Be open to continuous learning and committed to on-going self-improvement
  • Initiate and participate in organizational efforts to improve overall group productivity and test effectiveness
