What You'll Do

The MSS team is expanding with a Business Architect whose primary focus will be on developing and advocating services within the Managed Security line of business. The Business Architect will work closely with the Managed Security Team, Sales Team, Services Delivery leads, the Innovation Team, Marketing, & other functions to grow the MSS business.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops messaging to educate internal stakeholders and external market of service offerings and capabilities
  • Understands competitor's positioning and strategies and develops Cisco competitive strategy and positioning
  • Evangelizes service and solutions strategies to internal stakeholder, sales teams and external partners and customers
  • Examines new markets and technologies
  • Integrates customer and market requirements into Cisco security services collateral
  • Works independently and on teams to complete projects using judgment and experience
  • Communicates complex technical and market issues clearly

Help Cisco capture the security market transition. You will be working within Managed Security Services (MSS) team to drive the security strategy in transforming and growing the MSS business.


Who You Are

 

B.E/B.TECH/MS with 5-10 years of work experience, ideally including Product Marketing, Product Management, and Technology Strategy 

  • Demonstrates effective written skills including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences including executive management, prospects, customers, sales, engineering and partners
  • Understanding of cyber domain, security market, and managed security
  • Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic, self-motivated, results oriented and demonstrated ability to add value and succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Superior project management skills
  • Flexibility in a fast paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team player with strong communications, interpersonal, persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Thinks collaboratively and communicates effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to instill a sense of shared vision
  • Experience working with and presenting to Customers, Executives and Senior Leaders
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively formulate and drive strategic initiatives and manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously
