Cisco Services is leading the way for our largest Global customers in consultative dialog solving their biggest IT challenges. Lead the charge by creating a vision and leverage the deep expertise within Cisco Services to deliver positive customer outcomes.


Who You'll Work With

This team works on cutting-edge technology solutions and products within the Retail space. We also influence strategic architecture and technology decisions. We build business value models that map Cisco solutions to Customer pain points, and then drive technology adoption within the customer’s environment.


Who You Are

In this highly visible role, you must demonstrate your ability to assemble complex series of technologies into a cohesive integrated solution driven by business requirements. Leverage your consulting skills and understand our customer’s business and technology environments at both an industry and corporate level.


● Position value of Cisco solutions in solving customer business problems

● Ability to contribute and present at all levels of customer management, including CxO levels

● Build long-term customer relationships that change the nature of a traditional Cisco / customer interactions

● Ability to articulate repeatable methodology that transform customer to unlock business potential

● Deliver successful Proof of Concept engagements that demonstrate solution outcome mapping to customer needs

● Travel to customer locations in globally as required


If so, our minimum requirements for this role are:

● 5+ years of experience in a customer facing /consulting role.

● Work successfully in supporting technical sales / account teams with little supervision (must be able to lead sales team)

● Develop financial / ROI models based on customer input and guidance

● Run solution architecture workshops to define customer requirements

● Drive solution testing and validation cycles across multiple technologies

·       Serve as Tier 4 escalation in technical troubleshooting as needed for outages impacting customer production network


Desired Skills

● Previous experience with Global Retail customers

● In depth knowledge of Wireless, Collaboration, Security and Data Center technologies; multivendor knowledge appreciated

● Practical experience running Proof of Concept projects

● Writing business proposals that influence customer action

● Conversational in a wide range of technologies and services and how they map to outcomes

● Build and maintain long-term technology/solutions roadmap
