What You'll Do

As the SP Campaign and Transformation Director you will develop and deploying SP Campaigns and related umbrella messaging to unify value propositions across key product/services groups. You will coordinate input from the Value and Solution Formation Groups to develop initial messaging. You will shepherd this messaging through the established campaign development process and establish an execution process. You will define campaign media briefs and related designs. You will be responsible for ensuring that defined messaging and value propositions are cascaded throughout all supporting activities.

You will also assist the VP of Global Service Provider (GSP) Marketing and Chief of Staff to implement an evolutionary plan to transform the unit toward a more customer-centric focus. You will work to advance the transformation through the content creation process and content teams, help support the org in what it is going to do, assist in the training of team members to producing exceptional marketing in line with the new direction. Your assistance will extend into optimizing the design and pull through of Solution Content, Thought Leadership, and high touch omni-channel campaigns that reach the customer in ways that inspire them to think differently about their abilities and the foundations they use to build them.

Who You Are

You will:

  • Budget responsibility for Campaign development, campaign assets, campaign media and related event/launch support
  • Develop agency briefs for campaigns, supporting assets, and media programs.
  • Develop an annual campaign strategy, timing and scope for campaigns (including proof points, case studies, and use cases)
  • Serve as a liaison to agencies and corporate campaign team.
  • Work with the Media Manager for selection of media placement.
  • Define the approach and sourcing support for evaluating campaign effectiveness including perception change, reach, engagement levels, penetration of top 110 customer base, SQL, engagement points, and review of operational performance for each delivery channel to optimize campaign design, approach and asset selection.
  • Define the audience, persona, industry tiers, and product/service array for the campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the Value/Solution teams and Content Delivery managers to ensure that the proper assets are delivered for the necessary channels.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and optimize our channel mix, personas, targeted customers, and campaign focus across all campaigns and umbrella messaging platforms
  • Train the Value and Solution Formation Teams on the value proposition and messaging for each campaign as well as ensuring that this learning is cascaded into the Customer Engagement and Regional Localization Teams.
  • Developing with research department an ATU assessment for perception analysis
  • Building strong and sustainable relationships and interact w/ all organization levels.
  • Demonstrate extraordinary teamwork and foster collaboration within the GSP Team, as well as with key stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, Service, CMC and other organizations
  • Provide training and guidance, based on your experience, to further the deployment of the SP Marketing Transformation
  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems that impact design/selling success or address future concepts products or technologies
  • Utilize ground-breaking methods to expand solutions.
  • Negotiate with and influences decision- making at the senior management and executive level in order to gain cross- functional support of Marketing project objectives and initiatives
  • Evaluate key business challenges and has the ability to complete complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross-functional impact; directs the development of new or innovative solutions and uses ground-breaking methodology to think beyond existing solutions
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of own function, business and market segment expertise to differentiate Cisco from the competition and to solve critical issues successfully and innovatively

Do you offer a Bachelors in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications or equivalent plus 15 years of related experience?

Do you also offer 4+ years of Supervisory experience?
