To achieve the objectives the Service Provider Business Development Manager partners directly with Enterprise DNA (Digital Network Architecture) Product Management and the Service Provider Product and Sales Organization - our Customers. Our number one responsibility is providing and committing to recommendations to drive:

1) Market Share growth and retention, via Cloud and Managed Services

2) Profitability,

3) Revenue,

4) Corrective product action, and

5) Competitive differentiation.

To achieve this, the SP Business Development Manager is accountable for providing recommendations to achieve the five aforementioned KPIs in the Product Management organization as annual plans and measured by week/month/quarter for plan performance, initiative execution. The SP Business Development Manager collaborates extensively with his/her GTM peers across MS GEO BDM’s and MS RTM leaders and informs PIN peers of relevant market intelligence, route to market assessments, market trends, and is a key part of GTM success for the BE. The GTM DNA (Digital Network Architecture) lead is accountable for product, software, and solution launch, adoption plan execution and success based upon on the five KPIs.

Deliverables for the role:

  • Product Launch including programs, promotions, offers and plays
  • Formal Product Roadmap Communication to the geographies
  • Alpha, Beta, CI, and EFT plans
  • Portfolio/Product Positioning and Rationalization
  • Joint PIN/MS Investment Planning and ROI
  • Product/Software/Solution Readiness plan
  • Readiness plan owners in partnership with cross-functional EN leadership + Sales, Partner enablement
  • Alignment with Market Strategy Geography leaders for Americas, EMEAR, APJC and Greater China for Corrective Product Action and geography pricing strategies and insights for Product Management as well as QBR inputs
  • Identify EFT opportunities for Service Providers Partners
  • Regular Customer, Partner visits accompanied by Market Strategy Geo leads, Channels, Account Team Members

What you will learn in this role:

You will learn how to develop a successful SP GTM strategy across Routing, Switching, Wireless, Optics, Security, DCN, IOT, Core Software and Solutions. Work closely with stakeholders to execute GTM including Enterprise Networking and Data Center Sales & Architecture teams, as well as, WW Channels, Services, Systems Engineering, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Strategic Product Marketing, and Distribution Teams.
