Description:

 

Prudential's PGIM Investments Technology group is seeking a Specialist, Systems Development (.NET) to join the systems team, reporting to a Director of Systems Development. As Specialist, Systems Development you will be a member of a diverse team of developers that span between Newark and off shore locations responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and supporting business applications utilizing technologies including Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau and Cognos. The candidate should be able to work well both independently and collaboratively with other team members to develop technology solutions for business needs targeting internal users and external clients.

 


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 years of experience with development using Microsoft .Net technologies including C#, ASP.Net and MVC
  • 5 years of experience with development using web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML
  • 5 years of experience with database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial Services experience preferred
  • Knowledge of mutual funds business a plus
