Description GSSI team supports IBM’s OneNet /SNI/IESPC, It is a World Wide Service offering connecting External IBM customers to resource Countries or Customers who do not have the ability to provide their own support to support specialist. We are looking for a CCNA/CCNP certified individual. We offer the opportunity to grow your networking knowledge and advance in areas that are cutting edge.

SE’s are expected to do changes /Problems all over the World which requires a flexible time schedule as some projects will require participation at night or on Weekends. You will configure the switches, routers & firewalls with the necessary protocol, routes & rules. You will be required to address security risk and minimize the effects by upgrading Code levels on Firewalls and switches. SE’s may be doing SD / SA/SI based on business requirements. So below responsibilities includes SA/SD/SI .

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

-Simple /Complex /medium Change preparation & implementation.

- Handling problem management and providing appropriate solution and fix within defined SLO.

-Test and implement corrective actions (including emergency changes) to network faults.

- Boarding /Deboarding of new customer.

-Test and apply firmware/OS patches. Back out changes and participate in change reviews as needed.

-Assess, evaluate and document bandwidth requirements, performance implications and risks.

-Design network –providing solution and assisting TSA . Execute performance analysis to gauge the health of the network and to identify appropriate actions.

-Network specialists are expected to support customers in different time zones, which include migrations and changes in the evenings and at weekends.

- Performing security compliance work - security health check, APAR , CIRATS , IES rectification , Firewall rule revalidation … etc

- Ready to work in 24X7 shifts. Should be flexible for rotational shifts and On call support during off hours and weekends.

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Knowledge of problem and change management process is advantage

- Customer and service orientation, Ability to operate well in an international environment, multicultural environment

- Reliability, responsiveness and flexibility, Communication Skills, High motivation, Teamwork skills

1. Cisco Routers (medium range)

2. Cisco ASA

3. Cisco Switch – Nexus/4500/6500/36xx

4. Checkpoint firewall.

5. Blue Coat Proxy:

6. Juniper firewall

7. ACS

8. VPN – Ipsec, SSL,

9. BGP

10.. Basic concept of Devices architecture

11. Visio and MS office

**Education and Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s degree (regular degree), CCNA/CCNP/CCNP-security
