Working in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, Orthology physicians, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, and athletic trainers share a passion for helping patients quickly get back to living their lives to the fullest. We treat world-class athletes, weekend warriors, and thousands of other patients who need rapid recovery from back and body injuries, chronic pain, and/or orthopedic surgeries.


Orthology has an immediate opportunity for an outstanding physician to join our medical team that already includes some of New York’s “Top Docs.”  If you are a board certified/eligible physiatrist or licensed physician with sports medicine training and expertise, we’d like to talk to you about joining our team. This is a full time position but strong part time candidates will be considered.



This position will be covering the cover Chelsea and Midtown E48th locations.

The hours are flexible between 7 AM and 8 PM

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical patient care by conducting comprehensive physical exams, assessing health status, mobility, strength, cognition, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications and exercise final medical judgment 
  • Educate patients on their condition, progress, maintenance and prevention and perform procedures such as but not limited to joint injections (Cortisone, Euflexxa, Synvics, Supartz), aspirations, trigger point injections and prescribe and dispense orthotics, braces, crutches and other orthopedic devices as needed
  • Work closely with physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists and help develop comprehensive plans of care for immediate and long-term rehabilitation in order to restore the maximum level of function and movement
  • Oversee the work of physician assistants and medical administrative assistants by establishing priorities, coordinating and prioritizing the workload
Responsible for the ongoing development of clinical skills through continuing education programs, professional development, and internal in-services and educational rounds
