Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Sr. Analyst, Digital Content Analytics will be responsible for executing analytics, developing multivariate modeling, and reporting capabilities associated with item level digital content on homedepot.com. This position will drive the creation and delivery of key online reporting metrics to improve item web content and provide insight on the success rate of internally enhanced item content for homedepot.com. The Sr. Analyst, Digital Content Analytics will also query large data sets and then utilize statistical software (SAS or JMP) to identify and communicate key findings.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 60%-Data Analytics: Utilizes quantitative skills and statistical software to draw reasonable, actionable conclusions from analytic summaries
  • 25%-Testing: Executes post-test analytics to test the validity of existing online content.
  • 15%-Reporting: Develops reporting to prove success rate of improved content. Fulfills regular requests for ad hoc reporting related to the digital asset creation and digital content standards

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with statistical software and analyzing large data sets
Experience in supply chain management, vendor management and/or project management

  • Ability to approach problems systematically, researching all alternatives and making appropriate recommendations
  • Demonstrates originality and imagination in thinking while developing a solution to a problem
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all professional levels
