Job Details

**Role Description**

The BAI Specialist is a provider of analytical support for cross BU of Pfizer Korea. He / she will own client relationships with BU leadership team and commercial teams. He / She will effectively demonstrate core analytic skills (both secondary analysis and primary research) and work effectively with other members of the extended BAI team (e.g. Commercial Decision Analysis, Data Reporting Solution and other local country BAI teams) to frame, investigate and answer key business questions to drive product and portfolio performance. He/ she will provide quality analytics in order to deliver actionable insights to Pfizer commercial partners to make impactful decisions. Successful colleagues will possess a combination of analytical expertise, strategic thinking and project management skills and a demonstrated ability to apply a breadth of analytical tools and frameworks to lead projects and support teams.


+ Partner with BU leadership teams and commercial teams to identify key business questions and the analytics and insights needed to inform them

+ Develop and execute a primary market research/secondary data analysis plan to inform key business decisions and drive performance

+ Leverage different kinds of secondary data sources and work with the databases to derive insights

+ Develop regular market trend reports to inform healthcare, customer and competitor landscape

+ Determine key performance metrics and develop tracking reports on which to evaluate commercial initiatives.

+ Proactively seek out and evaluate new data sources, tools, and analytic partners that will drive business performance and/or efficiencies in research & data spend

+ Strengthen data-driven business planning and decision making process by developing performance dashboard utilizing interactive analytics

+ Provide analytic leadership and support for the Operating Plan process

+ Provide analytics and insights to enhance promotion strategy and its effectiveness including customer segmentation and targeting and field force sizing and structuring.

+ Partner with the extended BAI team to develop core client deliverables including product forecasts, promotional ROIs and resource allocation recommendations

+ Ensure compliance with key regulatory policies, such as those guiding Customer Engagement Programs (CEP)


+ Bachelor's degree required, Masters in analytic discipline (e.g., Management Science), preferred

+ Fluency in English

+ 5+ years of working experiences and 3+ years of commercial analytics or marketing/strategy consulting experiences in the pharmaceutical industry

+ Significant hands-on experiences analyzing pharmaceutical secondary data and problem-solving skills with expertise in the tools of primary research and secondary data analysis

+ High level of motivation and strong critical and strategic thinking.

+ Ability to integrate strategy, analytics and operations to create execution plans

+ Experience in managing complex projects, and working with matrix teams

+ Solidly demonstrated customer service attitude

+ Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
