Description:

The role of the Sr Director, Business Relationship Management for Global eCommerce is to establish relationships with business leaders to ensure highly productive partnerships between technology (IT) and business functions. The Global eCommerce Business Relationship Manager must stay ahead of eCommerce technology trends and future challenges while overseeing all aspects of technology delivery and support.

  • Owns the Global eCommerce tech agenda (e.g., initiation, execution, business leverage)
  • Aligns technology teams and resources to deliver eCommerce solutions, establishing a track record of consistency and reliability in order to build ongoing trust with the Global eCommerce Team
  • Acts as a change agent, preparing technology to meet the current and future requirements of PepsiCo's growing eCommerce business
  • Optimizes technology to move faster, enabling agility to meet the rapid and changing nature of eCommerce
  • Partners with Global eCommerce to define technology strategy and identifies/delivers technology based business solutions, and ensures that tech investments are aligned with its strategic business objectives
  • Grows the boundaries of technology to extend beyond traditional enterprise systems and data, and challenges the business in technology leadership for eCommerce technology and data
  • Manages costs and ROI effectively, and finds efficiencies in process, structure, sourcing, etc., as well as innovative ways to deliver in ecommerce using the best of what PepsiCo tech teams have to offer
  • Leverages the long-term road map defined by architecture to recommend alternatives that meet business process and financial requirements
  • ​Builds positive relationships with business partners, understanding and influencing their needs, to align business and tech strategy and ensuring appropriate solutions are deployed
  • Demonstrates the ability to see challenges and opportunities from a business perspective, making technology recommendations grounded in this understanding
  • Takes an idea from inception through development and influences stakeholders to achieve alignment and buy-in, evidenced through shared strategy ownership and/or funded projects/resources
  • Influences PepsiCo's business to prioritize capability investments that enhance value and ensure alignment with business and technology strategies in order to drive transformation
  • Develops Technology Strategy and a plan to implement in order to drive the information and technology agenda while aligning to the needs of the business
  • Identifies new and emerging technologies and applies innovation to solve for business challenges


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of related technology business work experience
  • Familiarity with introducing agile methodology and framework to tech teams
  • Able to work and succeed in a fast moving, high paced business environment with aggressive timelines
  • Solid technical understanding of enterprise and eCommerce technology and platforms
  • Customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
  • Experience managing a team with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent within a distributed and matrixed organization
  • ​Strong financial management experience with proven ability to manage annual budget
