*Role Description*

The primary responsibility is to lead the O&E Biosimilars Team in defined therapeutic area(s) by generating and executing on outcomes strategy, evidence generation and communication, contributing to the aligned business needs at the Global and Regional level and representing the O&E function with Senior Cross Functional Leaders in the Biosimilars BU. For assigned assets lead/contribute to the HEOR strategy, health economic decision-modeling, stakeholder value proposition, and support across market archetypes. The individual will provide O&E insights and contribute to access strategy expertise to key customers and partners in relation to Pfizer product access strategy and advance functional excellence. The individual will report to the PEH GHV O&E Lead.Organizational RelationshipsAsset Team: Commercial Development, Medical, Clinical, Public Affairs/Policy, Communications National/Sub-National Payer and Policy influencers/decision makers; Think Tank organizationsPatient advocacy groupsSupervision*2 direct reports (individual contributors)



*Responsibilities*

Manage a team of O&E colleagues within assigned therapeutic area(s). Through the matrix O&E community be able to guide/coach team members across global and regional role responsibilities to aligned strategy/tactical plan. Nurture/enhance the use of O&E to understand/meet the needs of all types of Stakeholders in key Pfizer marketsRepresent the 'Voice of the Stakeholders' at cross-functional team and governance bodies*Deliver clear recommendations relating to O&E strategy, evidence generation, study design, data collection, value proposition, communication methods and impact on Stakeholders and access and reimbursement*Achieving the above will variously require the formation of leadership and/or participation in virtual and in person cross functional teams. Advance Functional Excellence in O&E*Work with Cluster Lead/BU Lead to identify and appropriately allocate resources per critical business needs*Monitor and assess development needs for individuals on the team and be responsible for team's functional excellence - manage T&E allocations, operating plan execution per identified priorities, identify training needs team membersIn addition you will be expected to:*Set and execute on the vision for value-based access to medicines for strategic assets *Champion the 'Stakeholder" and Unmet Medical need agenda internally and improve understanding of "Stakeholder" and Unmet Medical needs*Represent the strategic therapeutic area/assets externally with senior customers and thought leaders consistent with the principles of scientific engagement*Develop effective processes and ways of working to support collaboration with key internal stakeholder groups *Identify new opportunities for value creation based on an understanding of Health Care systems and the potential benefits of Pfizer medicines*Develop innovative approaches to evidence generation and communication which meet Stakeholder needs and comply with Pfizer SOPs



*Qualifications*

Education*Advanced degree in a healthcare, business or economic field preferred (MPH,PH.D, or MD)Experience*Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare environment, sufficient to have developed a deep understanding of the Outcomes Research*Knowledge and understanding of drug development process*Pharmaceutical business leadership, including experience in strategy development and interaction with customers*Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes*Knowledge and understanding of health economics, patient reported outcomes and associated skills *Experience of managing people in a cross-cultural environmentSkills*Strong interpersonal skills and evidence of both leadership and teamwork in a matrix environment *Proven ability to lead teams, build coalitions and develop strong partnerships across functions *Executive presence and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization *Outstanding writing and presentation skills*Strong customer-orientation; an ability to see issues from the point of view of others*Ability to work successfully and cooperatively with colleagues across multiple cultures and time-zones Physical & Mental Requirements*Ability to work under pressure, to take accountability for business challenges, think strategically and tackle complex problems*Intellectual curiosity and ability to spot trends/ patterns*An "execution mindset" focused on getting things done quickly and simplyTravel:May be as high as 25%; includes international travelAbility to work across time zones:Working globally requires flexibility in working across international time zones engaging regional/local Health & Value colleagues and cross-functional lines.
