Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE

This position manages the real estate leases relating to the industrial/supply chain and retail properties and is responsible for lease interpretation and tracking critical dates, financial and operational obligations working closely with Real Estate, Supply Chain, Accounting, Legal and the landlords.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 40% - Administration of real estate leases managing critical dates, dollars and obligations through Company databases.
  • 25% - Conducts research and analysis and coordinates with real estate on special projects relating to the Company’s real estate portfolio.
  • 20% - Primary contact for landlords on property administration issues and conducting research required for making recommendations on dispute resolutions.
  • 10% - Maintaining all lease data in Company databases and compiles reports for business partner analytics.
  • 5% - Prepare required legal notices and communications required by leases.
NATURE AND SCOPE
  • This position typically reports to a Manager or Sr. Manager.
  • Typically requires highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations. 
  • Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches. 
  • Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems. 
  • Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situations.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or a related field is preferred.
  • CPM or CCIM credential a plus.
  • Three to five years real estate or lease administration experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Oral and written communication skills 
  • Accounting or Finance experience. 
  • Analytical skills 
  • Problem-solving skills
