*Role Description*

Hospira, a Pfizer company, is the global leader of injectable drugs and infusion technologies, committed to putting patients first by improving access and care worldwide. The Sr. Manager, Reimbursement Services (Program Operations) role is part of Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) business unit (formerly Pfizer's Global Established Pharmaceutical (GEP) organization) in the US Biosimilars group. The primary purpose of this role, based in Lake Forest, Illinois, is to manage at a corporate level daily operations and program interfaces for various market access programs for Pfizer US biosimilar products. The position will also be involved in leading/co-leading cross-functional teams to plan and implement program enhancements and new market access support programs for future biosimilar product launches, and creating various communication materials and customer tools related to these programs. Primary responsibilities include applying skills and knowledge to managing and making decisions regarding daily operations of a copay assistance program, and internal and field-based interfaces for a Field Reimbursement Team and other reimbursement/patient support programs. Serves as a resource to the Business Unit for programs managed. Additional responsibilities include monitoring program SLAs, budgets and daily problem-solving/communication with Field Sales, Field Reimbursement and as well as Market Access Account Team. Works with agency to develop content, layout and obtain internal approval through Review Committee for various program tools used by field-based teams. Represents Reimbursement Services to share reimbursement and programs knowledge Works with training to develop program training materials and delivers training sessions for internal and field-based teams or program vendors, as necessary. Works collaboratively with Sr. Manager, Reimbursement Services - Data/Reporting to monitor key program utilization parameters, program workload, operations budgets and program SLAs. Position requires a high-degree of collaboration and cross-functional interactions with program vendors, internal functions such as Marketing, Market Access, Corporate Responsibility Group, Legal, Review Committee, as well as Field Reimbursement and Field Sales teams. This position will report to the Director of Reimbursement Services for US Biosimilars.



*Responsibilities*

Utilizing skills and knowledge, works independently to manage daily operations of a copay assistance program, and internal and field-based interfaces for a Field Reimbursement Team and other reimbursement/patient support programs for the Pfizer US biosimilar products working with program vendors and key internal stakeholders to ensure programs deliver quality services to HCPs and patients, and operate within budgets and compliantly. Serves as a resource and content-expert for responsible programs.Leads/co-leads cross-functional teams to plan and implement program enhancements, and new programs for future product launches as required, and changes to program business rules, communication materials and tools used by various field teams working closely with program vendors, Legal, Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review Committee, and cross-functional implementation teams.Works with agency to develop content, layout and obtain internal approval through Review Committee for various program tools used by Field Reimbursement and Field Sales Teams. Develops plan for training and implementing tools with field-based teams.Works collaboratively with Training to develop program training materials and delivers training sessions for vendors, internal and field-based teams as necessary. Works collaboratively with Reimbursement Service data/reporting Sr. Manager to monitor program utilization data, workload, budgets and key performance metrics. Takes responsibility for programs achieving key metrics and for meeting program development milestone's and deliverablesLeads meetings and periodic phone calls with program vendor staff, Field Reimbursement Team, Field Sales or Market Access Account Teams to review payer policy trends, identify payer/reimbursement barriers, and resolve customer reimbursement and patient access barriers. Requires skill at developing solutions and determining action plans to address program issues and reimbursement/patient access barriers.Participate in vendor meetings, and internal market access and marketing meetings as necessary for program updates, and provides input to biosimilar market access program strategy and tactics. Able to travel 25% to attend vendor meetings, to attend company meetings, and to work with customers or Field Sales or Field Reimbursement Teams.This position is located in our north suburban Chicago/Lake Forest, IL location; relocation provided.



*Qualifications*

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Healthcare or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing market access programs for biologic injectable/buy and bill products in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated accomplishments including reimbursement Hubs, copay or patient assistance programs, field reimbursement support, billing and coding issues, etc. is required.Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry with knowledge of US market access support programs is required.Knowledge of the US commercialization of biologic injectable/buy and bill products, especially in the therapeutic areas of oncology, supportive care and inflammatory disease highly preferred. In-depth understanding of coverage, coding and reimbursement of injectable biologic/specialty therapies by Medicare and commercial payers across hospital, clinic, and physician office sites of care required. Demonstrated ability to work in and lead teams in large cross functional organizations.Budget management.Strong technical and analytical skills including proficiency with Word, Power Point and Excel.Thinks strategically and develop innovative solutions.Highly skilled in all forms of communication (i.e. oral, written, presentations) at team, peer and executive levels. Able to build relationships and work collaboratively and effectively in a heavily matrixed environment.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Work requires computer-based activities in office environment and knowledge of software programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel. Must have good problem-solving and organizing skills, and be able to organize and manage multiple work streams, processes and priorities in a dynamic work environment. Position interacts with many different internal and field-based functions in a matrix environment, and requires good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner. This position will involve developing solutions and making decisions within a dynamic and evolving marketplace for new therapeutic entities and new biosimilar markets. Must be able to think strategically and apply prior experience and knowledge to daily work. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Able to travel to attend vendor meetings, company meetings, and to work with customers or Field Sales or Field Reimbursement Teams.
