The successful, visionary candidate will be responsible for defining the next generation Events offer within the Spark suite. We're looking for an energetic, passionate entrepreneur that can lead a multi-disciplined Spark team to define and bring to market a next generation Events solution and help lead the growth of the associated business. Operating like a start-up, and drawing from products and solutions spanning Web Conferencing, Event Streaming, Web Casting, and Virtual Events, in addition to core Spark services, the incumbent will develop a transformation service proposal, along with the business and investment plans to capture the associated opportunity. Once approved, the incumbent will see the related plans through to there realization.

Role & Responsibilities
As Sr. Manager of Cisco Spark Virtual Events, your mission will be to provide thought leadership on how to disrupt the market for virtual hosted events through the use of modern cloud based Collaboration, Artificial Intelligence and mobile technologies. The role includes working alongside the product, development, marketing, sales and partner organizations to secure the necessary raw information to be used to inform the product and business strategy, and to create a start-up culture where speed, agility and risk taking in support of the business goals are rewarded.
While crafting and executing the fore mentioned duties, the incumbent will also serve as a key business partner and thought leader within the CCTG Customer Success leadership team, and to other key stakeholders including sales, marketing/digital marketing, support and our partner community.

Minimum Qualifications:
* 10+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in the areas of Events and/or tradeshow planning and production. Experience in inside sales, customer service, and digital marketing are a plus.
* Experience in product management or a leadership in a technology start-up is a plus.
* Track record of success in building and growing a new business from inception to positive cash flow.
* Exceptional communicator with superior interpersonal skills and comfortable with public speaking with partners and customers as necessary.
* Experience leading/supporting the development of business relationships and their nurturing into long term partnerships.

* Working knowledge of modern collaboration, mobile and web based streaming technologies.
* Experience with Agile development processes.
