**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Global Information Security Business Technology (GIS-BT) team delivers three core capabilities for Pfizer. The team secures the most important information assets through world-class protective controls, promotes a cybersecurity ownership culture across the company through targeted awareness education to empower colleagues to make informed risk decisions, and partners with business leaders to enable improved outcomes through the effective application of technologies that simplify user experience and reduce risk.







The Cybersecurity Analytics Data Management Lead is accountable for the operation and continuous improvement of Pfizer's on premise and cloud-based cybersecurity analytics infrastructure. The primary responsibilities include managing the ingestion of current and new data sources, restricting access to authorized personnel, monitoring the capacity and performance of all components within the analytics environment, and developing the ability to automatically execute response actions associated with common cybersecurity threats. The data ingestion process involves the identification, normalization, masking, and ongoing monitoring of data feeds originating from internal IT infrastructure (e.g., firewall logs, web proxy logs, network authentication logs, etc.), emerging cloud-based services (e.g., box.com, salesforce.com, yammer), and specific critical business applications. Monitoring system performance and capacity requires an in-depth knowledge of each component in the analytics environment and the maintenance of appropriate metrics and thresholds to rapidly identify issues before they impact production operations. The automated response actions will include, but are not limited to, the repair of improper system configurations, uninstallation of unauthorized software, initiation of full virus scans, and elevation of security restrictions. Successful service operations require a close and collaborative working relationship with the threat intelligence, forensics, and security analytics teams within GIS-BT, as well as, a variety of organizations across BT and Pfizer (e.g., acquisition collaboration & divesture, legal, privacy, etc.). This position will lead a team of colleagues, manage a multi-million dollar budget, and deliver service through a cloud service provider.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Manage colleague staff and service providers supporting 24x7 operations



+ Maintain on-call schedule and escalation process to promptly respond to service-related issues



+ Lead Incident and Problem Management activities based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices and manage related internal and customer status communications



+ Develop and enhance automation capabilities that integrate the cybersecurity analytics infrastructure with various IT capabilities (e.g., software installation, anti-virus protection, host intrusion prevention, forensic collection, security case management, etc.)



+ Maintain service qualification documentation including functional requirements, design configurations, source code control, and operational testing results



+ Represent applicable services during information technology audits by internal and external organizations



+ Maintain a comprehensive service support plan and ensure that all defined periodic checks are performed and properly documented



+ Establish comprehensive monitoring of the environment and regularly publish key operating metrics



+ Identify service risks and manage to acceptable tolerance (with leadership direction)



+ Identify continual service improvement opportunities and implement associated changes



+ Participate in the annual budgeting process and manage applicable expenses







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ BS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field. MS in Information Systems or MBA preferred.



+ 8+ years IT experience with increasing responsibility



+ 5+ years experience managing a team supporting 24x7 information technology operations



+ 5+ years enterprise data management experience, including database, workflow, or security information and event management (SIEM)



+ 3+ years experience in cybersecurity



+ 3+ years application development experience in a global environment with well-defined software development lifecycle and source code control procedures



+ 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry



+ Previous experience managing cloud-based services is preferred



+ Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations and service support processes. ITIL certification preferred.



+ Experience managing medium to large scale, global IT projects



+ Excellent oral and written communication skills



+ Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand new technology concepts and identify applicable implementation considerations



+ Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across a global organization







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to perform detailed analysis to identify the root cause of complex service performance issues







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







+ Standard work schedule, 20% domestic travel, and occasional international travel
