** 12 Month Secondment Opportunity**

Provide leadership, supervision and coaching for U.S. based Distribution Specialist colleagues and contractors. Develop positive and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across Medicinal Sciences and partner lines (e.g., GPD and CROs). Lead and/or contribute to strategic and continuous improvement initiatives. Proactively ensure quality and compliance through operational planning and execution, risk identification and mitigation to ensure successfully delivery of Pfizer medicines to patients globally.

Responsible for development of the Distribution Specialist role to support evolving needs of stakeholders and patients

+ Evaluate current processes on an on-going basis and make recommendations for continuous improvement in the Distribution operating model

+ Develop and deploy metrics program for measure of departmental performance against stated goals for operations responsibilities.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g., EHS, cGMP, GCP, import/export, Quality Standards, 21 CFR Part 11) by creating and maintaining a culture committed to quality.

+ Accountable for maintaining training compliance with direct reports

+ Enhance quality and compliance on a site and patient basis utilizing risk and mitigation plans

+ Investigate and document deviations, complete effective root cause analysis and effective preventative actions

CSL business line Point Of Contact for oversight of vendor operations

+ Facilitate weekly operations meeting

+ Represent CSL at vendor monthly ops review and Business Review Meetings

Ensure knowledge of project workload, forecasting and program demands for all direct reports. Work with other CSL Group Leaders to use resource forecast and assignment tools to align resource with project needs according to portfolio priorities.

+ Create, measure and track performance trends with appropriate metrics; Utilize performance data to drive continuous improvement

+ Ensure adequate project oversight and guidance to ensure continuity of patient supply

+ Provide guidance and leadership to members of the logistics organization on strategic decisions and operational development.

+ Interface directly with GCS and other groups within the supply chain in order to provide timely and responsive guidance and issue resolution regarding distribution activities.


+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Project Management (or equivalent) is required. 10+ years managing distribution/ logistics or clinical projects in a relevant industry would be considered in absence of a degree.

+ Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development are desirable.

+ Ideal Candidate will have 3+ years' experience in Clinical Supply Chain Operations


+ MBA, MA/MS, RPh or Professional Qualification

+ Lead and support CSL/CSO projects supporting Global Clinical Supply's digital supply chain strategy
