The Sr. Manager, Online Merchandising & Pricing will accountable to achieve online and interconnected sales and profitability targets by driving The Home Depot’s interconnected pricing strategy, improving analytic tools to inform and influence pricing decisions made by the merchandising organization, and upgrading technology and processes with respect to online pricing execution. The Senior Manager will lead a team of Managers and Sr Analysts and will be responsible for driving business requirements for enterprise pricing tools, managing all facets of category pricing reviews, and serving as the business lead for pricing & promotions customer experience interacting with the interconnected experience team . The Sr Manager should be seen as a thought leader driving pricing best practices and an advocate for interconnectivity among cross-functional channel partners.

40% Drive consistent category-level strategy planning with Merchants: coordination of necessary data from both store and online systems, development of project templates and concise reporting results for Online and Store Merchants
20% Responsible for the development of standard reporting tools, supervising data collection and reporting distribution
20% Partner with functional areas such as Supply Chain, Core Merchandising, Vendor Compliance and Inventory Management to ensure effective solutions that can be leveraged across all areas
10% Manage work activites and provide development of direct reports
10% Serve as primarly liaison with Merchandising Execution team to ensure inclusion of online strategies in product line reviews and synergies between online and core merchandising assortments.


Position reports to DMM,
Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
10 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

-          MBA or equivalent work experience in ecommerce, brick & mortar retail, merchandising strategy/ finance/ planning, and/ or consulting/ project management experience in a corporate environment

-          Demonstrated ability with business modeling capabilities using tools such as SQL, Excel, Access, and Tableau and advanced proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs

-          Experience managing and developing personnel at the Analyst, Sr Analyst, and Manager level
