What you'll do at

Develops overall store space strategy by
• benchmarking competitor store space allocation and market trends;
• aligning department strategy with overall company strategy;
• reworking strategy based on creative space-redesign initiatives;
• and influencing executives and senior leadership (for example, Finance,
Category Space, Operations) to adopt new space allocation processes
and training.
Develops actionable business strategies to enable the company to grow
market share and ensure a competitive position in the future by
• analyzing retail competitors and suppliers current business practices to
develop recommendations for future business operations;
• translating trends and customer actions into experimental designs;
• analyzing data and information and interpreting results;
• and presenting recommendations about future store space allocations
that provide opportunities to stay competitive and drive sales growth.
Leads implementation of project plans, changes, and solutions by
• communicating and collaborating with cross-functional business areas
(for example, Category Space, Store Design, Real Estate, Store Layout
Business Solutions);
• monitoring project milestones;
• identifying and evaluating criteria for success;
• incorporating feedback into current and future projects to promote
continuous improvement;
• developing and overseeing change management project plans, activities,
and training;
• and monitoring the impact of the solution.

Evaluates performance following project implementation by
• comparing financial and efficiency savings projections to actual results
using various analysis methodologies;
• conducting return on investment (ROI) analyses;
• ensuring data accuracy;
• collecting and evaluating pre-project feedback regarding layout, fixture
needs, and merchandising solutions;
• reviewing customer response and feedback from key stakeholders (for
example, Merchandising, Store Operations);
• and recommending adjustments to senior leadership regarding store
layout and design.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field and 2 years managing projects, budgets, and scheduling in any field OR 4 years’ experience managing projects, budgets, and scheduling in any field .

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Master's in business administration (MBA) or related field.
2 years’ experience designing continuous improvement projects.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
