Position Description:
This position is responsible for workforce planning across the Technology organization, including both associate and contingent labor needs. This role partners with senior leaders to align on the strategy for all forecasting and staff planning and requires knowledge and experience with advanced long-range forecasting, strategic planning and development, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various leaders.. This position helps report and communicate key performance indicators in support of workforce planning, ad-hoc analyses, special projects, and the overall Technology people strategy.


  • 35%-Cross-Functional: Partners with leaders of varying levels to understand needs across specialties and functions. Communicates talent needs as needed to inform talent pipelines needs and drive appropriate placement of available talent. Establishes feedback mechanism to determine accuracy and effectiveness of placements based off understanding of needs. Pivots where required to improve hiring manager satisfaction with talent provided as needed.
  • 35%-Forecasting and Measurements: In partnership with senior leaders, develops long-range and short-range forecasts of data elements essential to workforce planning (such as volume of, talent needed by role over time). Prioritizes needs across Technology as a collective based on input from senior leadership. Reports progress against target for key metrics adjusting as necessary.
  • 30%- Placements: Creates and maintains needs gathering and placement methodologies to meet enterprise level and financial goals associated with talent needs. Tracks talent placement progress against plan. Partners with Talent Acquisition Contingent Labor to analyze volumes and patterns across sources - adjusting, improving, and problem solving as needed to deliver against target.


Typically reports to the HR Director - Technology


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Overnight travel up to 25% as needed.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 8

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience interfacing with leaders at multiple levels including senior leaders
  • Experience and comfort balancing senior stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Ability to quickly translate needs into action
  • Ability to provide executive-level communication and insight
  • Knowledge of MS Project, MS Excel and other related computer programs
