Talazoparib is an anchor brand for Pfizer Oncology and will further establish Pfizer Oncology's presence and commitment to the BC community by growing the portfolio beyond Ibrance. It is a best-in-class PARP inhibitor in patients with DNA repair deficiencies across multiple tumor types, first in Breast Cancer. PARP inhibitors are an emerging and promising class of therapy, and Talazoparib in particular has been touted as a PARP inhibitor with highly differentiated potential and initial peak revenue projections over $1B.

The US Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting the launch of Talazoparib, including development and execution of US HCP, Access, GPO and Consumer strategies as well as the full mix of promotional and non-promotional initiatives. The role requires strong strategic and analytical thinking as well as creativity and decision-making skills, along with a proven track record of success in working in a team-based environment.

The Talazoparib US Senior Manager will report to the Talazoparib US Brand Team Leader.


The US Marketing Senior Manager will lead the strategy development and execution around key strategies and tactics to support the US launch and long-term success of Talazoparib. Roles and responsibilities may shift depending on the background and experience of the candidate.

+ Lead Talazoparib US marketing team in development and execution of effective US HCP, Patient and Account tactics for potential, near-term in-line indications, including potential collaboration with diagnostic partners.

+ Partner to develop US brand positioning and HCP and Patient Day 1 and Launch campaigns.

+ Partner with key functions, including Medical, Strategic Customer Group, SAS/PCA, PMCA, P&I, and Finance and other cross-functional partners to ensure strategic and tactical alignment.

+ Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learning, and driving continuous improvement in order to achieve patient and revenue goals.

+ Monitor competitive landscape and develop communications and action plans as needed.

+ Lead strategy and execution of peer to peer programs, including speaker deck content development, leadership of speaker communication and engagement strategy, partnering with cross-functional colleagues for KOL speaker tour, and leading other innovative educational tactics.


+ Minimum of 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.

+ BA/BS - degree required.

+ US HCP marketing experience, Launch experience preferred.

+ Oncology, Specialty, or Rare Disease experience preferred.

+ Diagnostic experience a plus.

+ Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, extracting key insights, and translating these into meaningful value propositions and tactics.

+ Strong project management skills, including ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and manage against a work plan.

+ Strong team player with demonstrated ability to engage experts from a wide range of functional areas to improve business performance.

+ Demonstrated track record of achievement and of influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, even without direct reporting relationships.

+ Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex marketing programs - both personal and non-personal tactics.

+ Confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create, and bring ambiguity into action.

+ Strong analytical skills; detail and action oriented; creative.

+ Ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and create concrete and actionable plans.
