As an individual contributor with oversight for 1 or 2 temporary contractors and working with an agency team of 2-4 people depending on time of year and project, the Senior Manager reports to the Director, US Brand Marketing, and Customer Perception & Strategic Targeting within Pfizer Injectables (PI) US Portfolio business within the Global Established Pharmaceuticals (GEP) division. S/he will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Pfizer Injectables branding, convention strategy, market research, portfolio customer messaging used by all of the following US Commercial teams: 10 portfolio business leads within PI, Surgical, and the sales groups of Hospital Sales Account Executives (HSAEs), National Accounts, Alternate Site (non-hospital), Inside Sales, and Puerto Rico



**ROLE SUMMARY**



As an individual contributor with oversight for an agency team of 3-6 people depending on time of year and project, the Senior Manager US Sterile Injectables reports to the Director, US Brand Marketing, and Customer Perception & Strategic Targeting within Pfizer Injectables (PI) US Portfolio business within the Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) business unit. S/he will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Pfizer Injectables branding, convention strategy, market research, portfolio customer messaging used by all of the following US Commercial teams: 10 portfolio business leads within PI, Surgical, and the sales groups of Hospital Sales Account Executives (HSAEs), National Accounts, Alternate Site (non-hospital), Inside Sales, and Puerto Rico.







The Senior Manager will interface with the Portfolio Leads, sales teams, Digital team, and Business Analytics Insights (BAI). S/he is the owner of the PI Brand Campaign, Voice of Customer (VOC) messaging, market research to support the Commercial teams to identify customer engagement and customer perceptions opportunity targets.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Pfizer Injectables Marketing Campaign execution, agency management and day to day work streams



+ Annual Internal Campaign development and execution- newsletter development, coordination with SF, success stories, SF connection and motivation



+ Liaison/Lead with Portfolio and Sales Ops team for Year Beginning Meeting (YBM) Agenda and Session Strategy



+ Lead for Marketing Agency Management



+ Develop Strategy for Key Conventions (3-5/yr): booth design, branding, messaging and promotional execution. On site management, Rep scheduling/booth staffing.



+ Coordinate with Digital team for strategy and execution of Pfizer Injectables Digital initiatives



+ Lead for Voice of Customer (VOC) Initiatives.



+ Pan Portfolio marketing pieces- Sell sheets, brochures, etc.



+ Sales Training liaison: Collaborate with Sales training to execute objection handlers, backgrounders and needed training materials



+ Media Recommendations and execution for Pan Portfolio branding and messaging for Trade Journal Ads



+ Lead for market research initiatives, coordinate with BAI lead to develop and execute key research such as (ATU, concept testing, message testing)



+ Expected travel 20%



+ This role is located in north suburban Chicago/Lake Forest, IL; eligible for relocation







**QUALIFICATIONS**



We seek a high performing individual who has:







Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing research or related business field; MBA or Master's degree helpful but not required







3-5 years' experience marketing, customer initiatives, and related marketing activities, including branding, convention strategy, market research, portfolio customer messaging







Pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device or related industry experience, generic pharmaceuticals preferred but not required







Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to analyze and make recommendations using available data







Demonstrated track record of strong cross-functional collaboration and effective utilization of available resources







Experience working with and managing a marketing agency
