Taiwan is a leading market for PCH. Centrum, Caltrate and Stresstabs are each the #1 brand in their respective categories in Taiwan.

The **Senior Marketing Manager** holds responsibility for the marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. This position champion a globally aligned, locally focused marketing strategy to ensure brand P&L delivery. Also, deliver intelligence and insights to business and lead the growth of a clearly defined portion of the PCH portfolio in Taiwan.

This role reports directly to the PCH Taiwan Marketing Director.


P&L Delivery

o Oversee forecast and monthly/quarter/annual delivery.

o Assist on developing annual operating plan

o Lead team to ensure monthly A&P forecast accuracy

Marketing Strategy Development & Implementation

o Develop business plans to achieve business target, strengthen brand equity and increase brand share within each category.

o Monitor the implementation of product plans and promotional activities through sales performance e.g. sales, sales growth, market share, margins, and other growth driver indexes.

o Guide team to establish brand architecture and new product development roadmap. Seek synergy in new product development.

o Provide guidance on marketing plans, as well as recommend strategic imperatives and go-to-market strategies to achieve maximum market impact.

o Work multi-agency to develop and execute holistic marketing plan and ensure the execution excellence.

Build Long-term Strategy

o Provide analysis and forecast on market and brand development trend.

o Implement agreed category/brand long-term strategies to ensure the market share and sales revenue growth, and financial target achievement in all channels.

Annual Marketing Plan

o Manages the development/execution of strategic, integrated marketing communications plans, budget and measurable targets for the specified geographic market.

o Implement agreed category/brand long-term strategy to ensure the market share and sales revenue growth, and financial target achievement in all channels.

o Lead team and give guidance to formulate annual marketing plan and communication strategy in both retail and ethical channel.

o Optimize marketing mix, including brand positioning, product mix, pricing and distribution through above-the-line and below-the-line activities.

Brand Management

o Guide team to establish brand communication and marketing mix strategy, supervise the implementation and campaign evaluation in all channels including retail, e-commerce and hospital channels

o Utilize various communication channels, incl digital, to engage with consumers and build brand preferences.

o Promote healthy brand relationship with community, customers and consumers.

Retail Activation

o Guide team to develop & implement annual retail and ethical channel activation plans to realize brand strategies and outperform competition in terms of display, recommendation and promotion at retail level.

o Lead team to work with sales team to deliver retailer account plans and e-commerce plan to achieve targets and drive investment synergy.

Budget Preparation, Control and Compliance

o Plan and prepare annual category/brand budget.

o Prioritize and allocate budget according to portfolio strategy.

o Monitor and control the budget to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency.

o Ensure compliance in all activities.

New Products Development

o Lead team to identify consumer unmet needs and category development trends for new product development opportunity.

o Prioritize new product initiatives and solidify brand architecture with new products.

o Lead team to deliver the new product pipeline as well as new product launch plans.

o Partnering, engaging and influencing sales & customers, local innovation manager, and global/regional innovation colleagues to drive the realization of local innovation pipeline

o Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful launch.

People Development

o Responsible for developing team's career development plan, coach and lead them to accomplish the target through effective communication.

o Identify team's capability needs and work with MD to develop training plan to improve team's core competency and professional skills.

o Build a highly engaged, high-performing team.

o Coach and motivate marketing organization to achieve their full potential.


Education / Experience

o University graduate with qualification in Marketing, Business or similar fields - MBA preferred

o Minimum 7 years of marketing experience of which at least 4+ years in the capacity of a manager or above

o Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to working teams and senior management required

o Product launch/ communication development/ consumer insight probing experiences are required, previous FMCG experience (sales, marketing, etc.) is preferred

o Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, problem solving, obtaining consensus required

o Possess a genuine interest in helping to improve the lives of consumer and their families

o Strong understanding of business strategy, marketing planning tools and processes

o Strong customer focus with the ability to adapt to internal client needs and expectations

o Strong communicator and presenter, with the ability to persuade others and foster open communication

o Proactively lead affiliate-wide projects to deliver quality results as needed
