Job Details


Responsible for the maintenance and operation of utility services and equipment (GMP & non-GMP) to include boilers, tanks, stills, refrigeration and air handling equipment/systems.


+ Installs, repairs and maintains plant equipment as per manufacturing specifications, SOPs., CGMP's, OSHA regulations and POPs.

+ Assists production in troubleshooting line problems and making necessary adjustments for proper line operational.

+ Fabricates parts from metals and plastics.

+ Installs and repairs water, gas pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

+ Operates and maintains various maintenance tools and equipment proficient to include: presses (hydraulic and mechanical), skill, band, cut-off and table saws, steam cleaning equipment, grinder, sander, drill press, threading machine, shop utility lathe, spot welder, multi-testers and diagnostic equipment, oxy-acetylene torch, soldering and brazing equipment, routers, metal shears, metal brace, metal roll form machine, man lift, power punch, trimming and forming machine, gas and diesel engines.

+ Performs building and equipment repair and up keep as required to include painting, roof repair, etc.

+ Performs yard care and maintains sprinkler system.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.


+ Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively.

+ Knowledge needed of specialized business processes such as elementary accounting procedures, operation of equipment such as bookkeeping and billing machines, basic computer operations and normal office procedures. (High school plus additional specialized courses or experience)


+ Decisions require simple analytical judgment.

+ Plan and perform diversified duties requiring knowledge of a particular field and the use of a wide range of procedures.

+ Involves the exercise of judgment in the analysis of facts or conditions regarding individual problems or transactions to determine what action should be taken within the guidelines or standard practice.


A-2 Shift

Overtime as needed (emergencies, planned/unplanned work, plant shutdowns, etc.)

No travel required
