Description DUTIES: Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Develop new concepts, methods, and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Test and validate network designs in labs and create deployment guidelines for field applications. Configure and troubleshoot OSPF/LDP Peering with the Provider Core routers and Provider Edge routers, MP-BGP peering with Route-Reflectors, OSPF adjacencies, BGP peering between the Provider Edge, and Customer Edge routers MPLS L3 VPN Provisioning. Write deployment guidelines for various features and services turn-up on Provider Edge and Customer Edge routers. Implement Mobility Service Integration and Migration between PE/CE platforms. Work with IXIA and Spirent Test Sets. Troubleshoot complex IP/MPLS data networks. Perform IOS-XR and Junos upgrades, hardware insertion, and new features enablement. Configure High Availability, routing policies and BGP peering on Juniper and Cisco routers and switches. Develop Field of Use and Network Design Requirements for AT&T's Cloud Infrastructure and SDN Data Network. Develop Component Configuration, Engineering Rules, and Design Documents for the components in AT&T's cloud and Data Network Infrastructure. Develop high level Network Design Requirements for various services offered by AT&T. Perform hands-on Network Design Validation, Cloud Infrastructure Design validation in AT&T labs. Assist in Operational Certification of the new technologies and services in AT&T labs. Provide support for First Field Application deployments of new technologies and services in AT&T's production network.
