The Regional Change Management Lead is accountable for leading change management within the region to drive greater optimization of HR platforms and support models (Internal HR Portal, Workday, Other HR Systems and Shared Service Model) and reinforcement of the "ONE Pfizer" mindset including global, regional and local perspectives. To achieve this, the Regional Change Management Lead partners proactively with all relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization, regionally and globally to ensure full adoption of changes. This is a strategic HR role that requires application of change management knowledge, skills, abilities, methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques to lead others successfully through these changes. This role has regional responsibility and will at times lead change on Global HR initiatives. This position can be located anywhere in the Americas region (virtual/remote).


+ Partner, coach and advise with senior HR leadership as well as Business Leaders, where appropriate for change strategies in the region to ensure successful adoption of key initiatives,, while understanding and minimizing the risks associated with the changes (e.g. Works Councils/Unions consultation requirements). These changes may be globally, regionally or locally driven.

+ Trusted consultant and regional point of contact for HR Leads, COE leads and BOS LT in the region for the escalation and resolution of issues relating to the HR Operating Plan or significant business changes. Liaise with Regional HRBOS LT to secure market / country resources

+ Accountable and responsible for regional change management activities for specific initiatives including: defining the change, evaluating the change impact, assessing organizational readiness, building a change plan and executing according to plan. Ensures regional alignment to global strategy.

+ Partner with global, regional and matrixed teams (Global HR COE leads, Regional Governance Forums, Working Teams, M&A, etc) to advance HR Platform optimization goals, reinforce the HR model, drive behavioral change, support Workday Releases and support the priorities in the HR Operating Plan. Engage with project leadership to proactively identify and manage issues and risks throughout HR projects

+ Provides regional feedback to the Global Change team, cascade global materials within the region, manage the regional plans and localization efforts in the region.

+ Expected to leverage external research and networks to identify digital technology solutions communications, training and usage effectiveness.

+ Proactively identify synergies and opportunities for partnership across all of HR to ensure a face of ONE HR to the business.

+ Define the framework for Regional HR & Business Change Networks, HR Communities of Practice, and lead on-going engagement to share best practices and drive regional change initiatives.

+ Responsible for building, training and on-going coaching of regional change teams and monitoring effectiveness of Regional Change Management teams and initiatives.


+ 8+ years of Change management experience

+ Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications or related field

+ Formal change management training / certification preferred

+ Cross-HR functional knowledge preferred e.g. HR administration, benefits, compensation, staffing, talent, HRIS, etc.

+ Demonstrated application of change management knowledge, skills, abilities, methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques to lead others successfully through change.

+ A proven ability to lead change by navigating successfully through ambiguity, cultural differences and complexities that exist across all the different countries within the region.

+ Able to manage multiple change initiatives concurrently. Project management / portfolio management experience preferred.

+ Sufficient knowledge of the region to pre-empt risks and successfully lead difficult changes.

+ Strong and creative technical skills, including learning content development and delivery. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills given the primary stakeholders and communication needs for work delivered in the Region.

+ Demonstrated ability to deliver cross functional results in an integrated, collaborative manner and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

+ Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities, identifies risks/issues, assesses implications, formulates recommendations, and drives sound decisions that deliver business results. Detailed oriented without losing site of the big picture.

+ Sound professional judgment and persistence and demonstrated success at promoting innovation and taking thoughtful risks to challenge the status quo, resulting in enhanced processes or products.

+ High integrity and adaptability and a team player/leader with a strong global collaboration mind-set.

+ A positive and infectious attitude, strong political and business acumen, agility, approachable nature, and ability to gain credibility with senior leaders in the organization.

+ Self-driven by high personal performance standards and energized by challenging, fast-paced, growth environments.


Travel limited - yet required at times. Frequency may increase for specific projects.
