Description To support network design, development and release efforts for AT&T Wi-Fi Services

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

•Supports all aspects of network architecture, design, engineering, and detail network specifications in order to migrate client from current network environment to the new environment.

•Makes recommendations for improvement based on client requirements.

•Monitors the performance of the overall network and its elements, responds to and fixes troubles, and performs preventative and routine maintenance activities.

•Develops plans and/or designs Network requirements and standards. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into functional specifications and Vendor selection

•Performs activities necessary to support the installation and/or removal of network equipment. Verifies databases and ensures the quality and correctness of equipment installations.

•Develop wired/Wi-Fi network designs for AT&T Wi-Fi customer solutions.

•Candidate will define standards for network designs and implement networked systems.

•Developing configuration, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as switches, wireless LAN controllers, and Wi-Fi access points.

•Develop new concepts/methods/techniques.

•Assist in the testing and repair of equipment problems associated with trouble reports and performs routine maintenance on lab equipment.

The ideal candidate will bring the following skills to the position:


Subject matter expert within Wireless discipline/specialty area.


Solves non routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors. Independently identifies key issues, patterns or deviations from norm. Works on problems requiring judgment and in depth evaluation of multiple factors.


Recommends new procedures/processes to drive desired results.


Collaborates with others in own team or across teams

• English Speaking

• Strong Wi-Fi design, troubleshooting, and analysis skills

• Strong hands on routing/switching experience

• Possible off-schedule hours

• Ability to communicate complex technical information through documentation and discussion

**Education and Qualifications:**

• Wi-Fi Fundamentals: CWNA

• Familiar with key vendor technologies (Cisco, Aruba, and/or Ruckus)

• Cisco Unified Wireless: CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless
