"Who You Are

* Acquire a deep understanding of the Cisco Jasper platform, collaborate and drive internal and external stakeholders to consensus on overall solution design based on external and internal business and technical requirements

* Engage with Technical Account Managers, Software Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Product and Project Management teams early in the development phase to influence and craft robust solution design documents taking into account current capabilities and new requirements

* Provide technical guidance to our Operator partners to solve customer challenges. Ability to work with broad requirements and ask the right questions to clarify

* Identify feature requests outside Cisco Jaspers current offering and engage Product Management to determine development impact and timing

* Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, listening, and presentation skills, as well as crisp oral and written communications

* Navigate complex business and technology relationships with our Operator partners

 

Requirements:

* BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant technology solution experience in a multi-platform networking product

Must have the ability to create detailed technical solution documents and to convey complex scenarios to partners and internal engineers

* Prior telecom experience and wireless core network knowledge including but not limited to HLR/HSS, PGW, PCRF/OCS, MME, SGW, SMSC etc. preferred

* Experience with Experience with SOAP, API, XML and SQL

* Excellent communication skills for peer-to-peer and peer-to-leadership communication with strong inter-personal skills

* Ability to resolve problems with little to no supervision

* Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced fluid environment, thinking creatively to quickly address changes in priorities, scope and technologies

* Travel: Typically 10%

 

 

Skills you need:

* BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 10+ years in technical role / engineer in test in the wireless industry.

* Strong oral and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

* Ability to work with broad requirements and ask the right questions to clarify

* Ability to build relationships internally and work with cross functional teams.

* Have very strong skills in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.

* Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team environment.

* Working knowledge of API, SOAP, XML, SQL relational databases a strong plus.

* Prior telecom experience and wireless core network knowledge including but not limited to HLR/HSS, PGW, PCRF/OCS, MME, SGW, SMSC etc. a strong plus
