Job Details


Responsible for maintaining a stable production plan in the system and optimizing the production sequence for efficiency within 10 weeks (Pack) / 12 weeks (DP). Ensures production plan is feasible based on review of material availability alerts and works with Network Planner to reflect key supply priorities in the plan. Serves as liaison to site Operations to handover a feasible production schedule, and receive feedback on execution issues. Flags unplanned changes in the plan to relevant Network Planners to ensure supply priorities not disrupted by plan changes. Monitors the creation of critical paperwork associated with production, and routinely generates and tracks key information for reporting purposes.


+ Schedule orders based on unplanned and last-minute shift-by-shift labor / resource availability

+ Monitor the schedule backlog and re-schedule delayed orders based on priorities provided and DS board flags

+ Build manufacturing / packaging campaigns to group orders for changeover efficiency for assigned brands on assigned resources within 10 weeks (Pack) / 12 weeks (DP); Adjust as needed based on feedback received from Network Planner

+ Use system reports to ensure all raw materials and components are projected to be available for production for assigned brands; Liaise with Material Planners to ensure material availability to support production plan, expediting critical components and verifying availability of parts when necessary

+ Review alerts (material availability, DS board, PPDS alerts) daily for assigned brands and resources within 10 weeks (Pack) / 12 weeks (DP); Make changes to schedule based on defined thresholds and according to break-in governance rules; Share urgent issues with Network Planner

+ Conduct weekly 'handshake' meeting with Network Planner to discuss supply priorities and to monitor / control schedule break-ins and to highlight execution issues flagged by Operations

+ Update the sequence within week 10 (Pack) / week 12 (DP) based on priorities written in DS board and discussed with Network Planner; Leverage Simulations, in part, to identify changes within 4 weeks and follow schedule break in-process to propose changes

+ Liaise with Operations for schedule attainment visibility and planned / unplanned downtime; Share production schedule and priorities; Maintain up to date schedule visibility in handover tools; Prepare and analyze weekly / monthly performance reports and communicate results and potential areas for improvement to the team

+ Participate in SC huddle, raising any issues that require support / resolution as necessary

+ Convert and release orders in the system; allocate material to orders; update any paperwork required

+ Create, schedule and adjust downtime holds to maintain accurate system capacity reflecting detailed resource and labor availability; Maintain system capacity utilization based on but not limited to: equipment upgrades, inspections, shutdowns, etc.; support capacity strategies within PPDS

+ Work with Master Data team to define and set system parameters in SAP as needed; interface with site Customer Service, Finance, Quality, and Operations as required

+ Own site projects assigned and provide support as necessary

+ Maintain complete understanding of all functional procedures; When needed, review, improve and train all affected personnel on those procedures (SOPs)

+ Use M1 methodology for issue resolution and promote zero defect culture



+ Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or Science. Special courses, workshops or seminars related to Materials Management. APICS certifications are desirable.


+ At least 3 years of related manufacturing experience.

+ Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning and inventory control.

+ Knowledge of cGMP and RFT tools.

+ Strong knowledge of the Procurement Process
