What You’ll Do

The Sr. Software Support Engineer works in the Cisco Prime Services Catalog Tier 4 support team in the Cloud Platform and Services Group BU.  They are responsible for providing tier 4 level support for the product working directly with Cisco TAC and Cisco customers.

Who You Are

Required Skills:

  • Excellent software debugging skills
  • Strong programming skills in Java
  • Experience with maintenance releases, hot fixes, patches, and other software support requirements
  • Ability to work directly with customers on analyzing bugs and defects
  • Excellent software packaging experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor Jr. developers

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Cisco Cloud products such as Prime Service Catalog and Cisco Process Orchestrator
  • Experience with integration with other Cisco solutions such as UCSD.
  • Cisco Networking experience
