Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partner is responsible for developing innovative and strategic methods to source talent, evaluate talent, and ultimately identify specialized niche talent for The Home Depot. The Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partner consults with business leaders on key hiring initiatives, market research, competitive intelligence, and search summaries. The successful candidate will facilitate a best in class experience for hiring teams and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partner will lead and manage high level niche searches for the team and may assign or prioritize searches to other Sourcing Partners. They are responsible for tracking, reporting metrics, and providing insights relevant to their search projects and talent pools. Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Partners ultimately align top talent with strategic business needs and exude The Home Depot's core values including our commitment to excellent customer service and candidate experience.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 20%- Sourcing passive candidates using nontraditional tools 
  • 20%- Research and gather market intelligence relevant to the talent landscape for specific skill-sets and industries 
  • 30%- Understand, articulate and sell The Home Depot business and culture to potential candidates. Consistently meet standard measurements of success for external recruiting by achieving annual hiring pipeline conversion goals 
  • 15%- Out-of-the-box strategic thinking, sourcing skills, problem solving, sourcing group collaboration and persuasive communication skills 
  • 15%- Deliver results with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple projects and candidates

NATURE AND SCOPE

  • This position reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition. 
  • This position has 5 direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Track record of results-oriented pipeline sourcing and hiring
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internet sourcing (blogs, social and professional networking, advanced boolean search logic, search modifiers and internet data-mining techniques)
  • Direct cold call sourcing experience
  • High volume and niche sourcing in corporate and / or recruiting agency environment highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Creative and innovative in recruitment / sourcing activities including the understanding of candidate market intelligence and the building of candidate pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability in utilizing LinkedIn, Twitter and Google to source talent
  • Source and identify passive talent through cold calling and other sourcing techniques
  • Proficiently navigate the internet and social media outlets to engage and acquire passive talent
