What you’ll do:

The Sr. Windows/ Linux System Administrator role will help maintain our high-demand production infrastructure to high levels of availability, security, scalability, performance, and efficiency.

Our enterprise customers span Connected Car, Connected Home, tablets, smart meters, medical devices, connected construction equipment, plus thousands more devices from iPhones and Kindles to dog trackers. Right at the crux of these dynamic deployments lie our Device Lifecycle Management capabilities which provide enterprises a powerful mechanism to run their devices in ways that make sense for their businesses. 


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Your primary duties will include the setup and maintenance of the following: Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, Windows Domain Controller/Forest,Windows DNS, Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016, Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux OS (Centos, Ubuntu, Scientific Linux), 
  • You'll also configure and maintain the following: VMware ESXi, VCenter, VMWare Horizon, KVM,backup solutions (snapshots, Symantec Netbackup, Windows Backup) and monitoring tools (Icinga, Nagios, Pingdom)
  • Partner with team members in resolving issues.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • 10 or more years experience in an equivalent corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Solid skills in network troubleshooting
  • Proven skills in PowerShell, Bash and scripting
  • Self-starter, capable of identifying problems and implementing sound, cost effective solutions. 
  • Broad technical experience within office IT support.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Superb interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly developing work conditions
