The Stability and Laboratory Management Coordinator is responsible to manage the stability program and laboratory management activities for the Product Development (PD) group at the McPherson, KS site.


+ Manages and administers all facets of the stability program at McPherson, KS for all Product Development programs

+ Manages and oversees the laboratory management activities for the Product Development laboratory, including coordination of with outside vendors/suppliers and tracking of internal maintenance programs to ensure laboratory compliance

+ Key laboratory safety representative for the Product Development laboratory

+ Subject matter expert on key stability and laboratory management software and operations

+ Leads critical laboratory initiatives for continuous improvement efforts for stability and laboratory management

+ Will manage at least 1 colleague, and up to 3 total individuals (including possible contingent workers).


+ Bachelor's degree or higher in a science related field and at least 6 years of pharmaceutical experience in a laboratory

+ Detail and planning oriented

+ Able to work autonomously on routine tasks

+ Good oral and written communication skills


Requires frequent lifting and standing to pack, store and pull stability samples. Working environment involves normal office and laboratory environment where procedures, PPE (personal protective equipment) or protective apparel/devices may be needed to address noise, dust, fumes, safety hazards, etc.


Role will be main point of contact for the PD laboratory if alarms for critical systems (incubators, freezers, etc.) are triggered and will be expected to address or coordinate off hours fixes to address the alarms. Potential for limited travel.
