Every month millions of visitors trust the Sam's club app and Samsclub.com to find exciting products and an incredible value. Your job is to make their lives simple by helping them find the products they want, when they want them. Your primary responsibilities include:

Deliver the most relevant and reliable search experience by bringing together the best search algorithms, search technologies, and search infrastructure.

Develop search technologies for one of the largest retailers on planet earth

Improve search relevancy by applying natural language processing and machine learning algorithms

Implement and scale the Sam's Club search engine to serve our millions of visitors

Mentor and lead team members to deliver quality and speed.Minimum Qualifications:



+ Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 7 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 11 years OR 9 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 11 years.

Additional Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years developing software

Significant experience with large-scale search algorithms and infrastructure

Experience with information retrieval, machine learning, and recommendation systems
