The Stock Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, counting, sorting, weighing and verifying items on requisitions or invoices. Returns damaged items or other items to vendors that do not meet company specifications. Fills orders, issues supplies from stock and rotates stock to insure freshness. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas by sweeping and mopping. May move or transport materials or supplies to other departments using or industrial trucks. Responsible for putting all stock away and ensuring FIFO system is being used.

Job Requirements

Education/Qualification

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriately for position

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Effective listening skills

  • Must receive a passing score on the Customer Centered Care test (CCC)
