The Strategic Account Manager in Cisco is the key contact for our customers. Imagine participating in major transformational and digitization projects with Public Sector customers.

You will play an important role in connecting the current and future business needs of Federal Government Ministry and all their connected authorities. You will identify and drive opportunities based on their needs and their current technological challenges.

Internally, you will work in a great team, coordinating all sales efforts with System Engineers and Sales Specialists in local and global functions as well as interacting with our colleagues from the Cisco Services team for Service Sales and Service Delivery.
Naturally, you have close contact with your partners to be on top of the business in your area to be sure that the technical solution offering will meet the customer expectation. 
Your success will reflect in sales achievements but even more in long term customer relationships and customer satisfaction.


In this job you will:
• Focus on an outstanding customer experience and strive to become your customers’ trusted advisor.

Work within an experienced team in the German Public Sector Operation
• Own and develop the Cisco Account Management Business Plan in alignment with the Cisco and Public Sector  overall short, middle and long term sales strategy.
• Orchestrate cross-functional team members to deliver complete business solutions.
• Work closely with the Cisco partners team, to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services.
• Plan and execute the sales strategy in order to meet the agreed milestones and timescales and to ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.
• Anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, customer needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.

Who You Are
• You bring several years of sales experience with proven track record in a dynamic IT, Software, Services and Solution business.
• You are a spirited team player and able to work in a complex customer environment like the Public Sector
• You enjoy to work in visible and highly transparent customer projects
• Minimum BA degree in a business discipline or equivalent.
• Demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Able to understand, articulate and position the value of a technology-based solution to the customer.
• German by mother languages but fluent in English as well.

Desired Skills
• Mastery in developing trusted customer relationships up to C level.

• Experience with customers in the Public Sector market
• Ability to match customer needs with state of the art technology solutions and partners to deliver them.
• Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall. 
• Confidence in applying business and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication. 
• Ability to leverage and engage internal resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services and others.
