As a Sales Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in the success of the Cisco Field sales teams in selling the full suite of Data Center products by facilitating sale opportunities with our ecosystem partners, providing backup for our sales leadership, and contributing to strategic sales planning and analysis and create, execute and drive sales campaigns and initiatives.

You will work with field sales and field sales management, business units, marketing, partner and channel sales, and solutions development.


Who You Are

Are you a person with sales experience with execution thru partners who understands Routing, Switching, Wireless, and foundational security within networking markets and competitors along with thinking outside the box?  Are you ready to jump in as the dynamic needs of a tactical sales organization shift?  Can you gain the confidence of your constituents, co-workers, and strategic partners such that they will provide the necessary resources to ensure the success of your initiatives?   When you discover gaps, can you create the necessary sales tools and programs to enable and motivate sales teams?   Do you have experience selling Cisco specific products?  Do you have experience analyzing markets and creating campaigns that compel partners to want to go to market with Cisco sales? Then this is the position for you! These types of products include Cisco Catalyst core/edge switching, Cisco ISR/ASR/CSR routing, Cisco Aironet products, Meraki Full Stack products (MX, MR, MS, MC, MV, SM).   Think software, and you have come to right place, as we drive our software portfolio of CMX, Prime, ISE, EMSP, APIC-EM, and StealthWatch coupled with a focus of transitioning our customers to C1 subscription based offerings. 

Our minimum requirements for this role include: 
• Complex Sales Cycle Management 
• Forecast accuracy and quota attainment 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
• Self Starter 
• Excellent Presentation, communication, organizational, project management and analytical skills 
• Networking Experience within the routing, switching, wireless coupled with security experience preferred 
• 
Cloud architecture experience preferred- SaaS, LaaS, PaaS, Private, Public
