<b>What You'll Do</b>

As a Strategic Marketing Manager you will be responsible for marketing new products and technologies, including the positioning and creation of compelling messaging and GTM plans aligned with the product launches. 

You will drive new thought-leadership campaigns and would support cross-functional orchestration and execution of various marketing activities in the SP Video services group.

<b>Who You'll Work With</b>

You will closely collaborate with peers and Cisco corporate marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns, create strategies and plans geared towards awareness and demand generation as well as conversion for cloud software portfolio with the goal of continuously growing Cisco's market share.

<b>Who You Are</b>

You help with the planning, preparation and participation in key trade shows and marketing events to support the event marketing needs and promote products and new offers.  You work closely with product management team responsible for each product to provide strategic messaging and marketing guidance to assure a customer-focused perspective. You are an expert on customer needs and key competitors' messaging and marketing tactics while consistently sharing observations, insights, learnings, and implications so SP Video can be proactive in addressing market needs and aid in the timely publication of marketing and sales collateral

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Support field teams (Sales, Account Management, Business Development) with marketing material, market training and market intelligence that help accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Be a leader & strong collaborator beyond your role, supporting business transformation and providing thought leadership in the SP Video, SPPA and broader Cisco community.
  • 5-7 years in enterprise software experience
  • At least 5+ years of marketing or marketing communications experience
  • BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
