What you will do

You will collaborate with supply chain leaders and strategists across Cisco to craft key strategic initiatives for supply chain. The Supply Chain Transformation team seeks a high performing strategic planner to conduct complex strategic analysis to drive long-term strategic business decisions and priorities. This includes plans, analysis and recommendations related to goals, financial impact, customer requirements, emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, and groundbreaking business performance improvement.

Our team partners with supply chain leaders as well as other Cisco strategists to identify alignment and commonalities to accelerate Cisco goals and measures of success. You have a rare opportunity on this transformation team to develop supply chain business and innovation strategy recommendations for senior leadership based on competitive market, financial, statistical, and economic trend data. Your impact can directly contribute to the operational success of Cisco.

Who you are

You have experience leading projects focused on key strategic initiatives. You work on highly complex problems, gain insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the senior leadership team. Your excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills are showcased in your ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently. You have exposure to senior-level decision makers and establish relationships with people across the entire organization. You demonstrate the ability to become a future leader and be successful in an unstructured, team oriented environment.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • 2-5 years' experience post MBA in top-tier consulting firm, corporate strategy / financial services field with strong exposure to high-tech
  • Experience in supply chain or business operations role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to work with senior executives across various geographies
  • Strong people development and influencing skills; able to build and drive extended and virtual teams
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to work on complex business issues with minimum supervision
