**Position: Strategic Retail Manager - PEH Private Business**



**Division: PEH**



**Department: Private Business Team**



**Report to: KAM Lead of Private Business Team**







**Role Description**







The Strategic Retail Manger is responsible for growing revenue of customers identified as "retail chain" and work with supervisor to develop overall PEH retail business strategy. The incumbent's duty are included identifying business opportunity, gathering customer insights, developing business strategy, coordinating with sale team, monitoring team performance and implement project/activities as planned. Apart of their responsibility, the incumbent will also act as "customer facing" person for retail chain customers to understand their needs, manage requests of day-to-day operation, and strengthen trust and professional relationship with Pfizer customers.







The incumbent will be working closely KAM Lead and Regional Retail Team to get an alignment on business direction, plan and capability.







**Key Responsibilities**







+ Deliver revenue against sale target of assigned accounts (retail chain)



+ Leading development of innovative commercial strategies that optimize the commercial value proposition, pricing, and discounting levels, including ensuring commercial policy aligns trade terms to business objectives and supporting negotiations with retail chain as needed



+ Monitor and manage own and sale team performance/budgets to support specific portfolio objective/initiative



+ Collect & analyze data to track retail market & channel business performance, identify opportunities and assess implementation of initiatives



+ Work cross-functionally/cross brands/support functions/digital strategy to support country key initiatives through rigorous analysis, detailed planning, flawless execution and metric driven monitoring







**Education and Experience:**







+ Bachelor degree in pharmaceutical /Life Sciences related field is preferred.



+ MBA or Master in MKT is a plus



+ 3+ years of experience in Retail pharmacy business or business development areas



+ Sales and/or Marketing experience in retail/modern trade channels; previously in-country, operational experience preferred



+ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry



+ Experience in large organizations and regulated industries **Technical Skill and Competencies:**







+ Business Acumen: analytical skills, strategic thinking, financial acumen (budget management, business analysis)



+ Ability to generate actionable market, customer, & competitor insights



+ Demonstrated ability to develop & effectively execute marketing plans



+ Demonstrated ability to build valuable customer relationships



+ Project management skills



+ Fluent in English
