What You'll Do
You will be primarily responsible for creating strategy and initiatives working tightly with Cisco India sales leadership and functional teams. Mainly, you will
* Develop Cisco India strategy: identifying and assessing best new opportunities for growth
* Evolve the India sales go-to-market and sales motions to capture the growth opportunities
* Create scenarios for the business, including competitive, macro-economic and market analyses
* Conduct due-diligence on M&A candidates
* Drive and contribute to the agenda of the India Internal and External Advisory Boards
* Align operations with Cisco's overall strategic priorities, providing feedback to APJ and HQ
* Build actionable plans that can get executed, and directly lead specific initiatives
* Become a trusted advisor for the theater President and the senior leadership team
* Support leaders in India making critical business decisions providing solid fact-based analysis
* Become an ambassador of India's interests to the rest of Cisco

Who You'll Work With
The APJ SPO team is responsible for business intelligence, growth identification, market and sales strategy, planning, field enablement and sales operations, with a scope of $3.5B in revenues. The team drives initiatives from conception to execution, fostering alignment across theatres, segments and functions, seeking excellence and consistency in management practices with the ultimate goal of accelerating Cisco's growth in APJ.
You need to be self-motivated with a strong focus on delivery. You will also need to be capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to influence senior executives through strength of ideas, personality and data-driven metrics is at the core of this role. Being results-oriented and showing initiative with a visible track record of accomplishment will ensure success in the role. A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field backed by a MBA from top school is desired with a strong interest and passion for technology or technology background.

Who You Are
Considering the criticality of the role, we require at least 7+ years of experience at a top management consultancy (i.e., McK, BCG, Booz, ADL, Bain) with a total of about 10+ years working experience. Additionally, you are a person with
- software, ecommerce, web-scale industry experience
- knowledge of and experience in Enterprise, Channels, Commercial/Mid-Market
- strong analytical skills and finance skills
- excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills
- ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
