As a Supervisor of Provider Network Relations with Logistics Health Inc., you’ll assist Program Leadership in the day-to-day management, operation, planning and implementation to ensure department objectives are fulfilled per the various contractual requirements.  You’ll be responsible for the oversight of development and maintenance of successful working relationships with Network Providers to ensure performance of quality services that result in a successful cost effective order and event fulfillment.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement and monitor performance measurements specific to assigned duties of staff.
  • Oversee adherence of employees to department and organizational policies.
  • Promote positive work environment within Provider Network (PN) Team.
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures for contracting and coordination standards, contract compliance, and quality industry standards of these practices.
  • Responsible for servicing provider network and contracting and pricing decisions. 
  • Ensures team is capable in these areas as well. 
  • Analyze and refine provider networks to assure appropriate network composition.
  • Identify provider trends and cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to staff for provider inquiries, concerns, complaints, appeals and grievances.
  • Manage and promote provider and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, development, performance appraisals, timesheets and individual/team productivity.
  • Develop and participate in presentations to existing and prospective providers.
  • Presentation abilities must include the ability to speak at multiple levels within a provider organization. 
  • Attend conferences and visit providers.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare (ideally contract and data management experience), along with at least 2 years of lead or formal supervisory experience (6 years combined work experience)
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
  • Understanding of medical and dental provider networks and associated troubleshooting techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships within health care organizations
  • Negotiation and contracting skills
  • Ability to analyze costs accurately and efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the activities of others as well as manage and monitor performance
  • Proficient computer skills within Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 10%, occasional overnights

  • Must be able to problem solve and propose solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities under extreme deadlines
  • Medical, dental, or healthcare insurance experience
  • Marketing/Sales experience
  • National Career Readiness Certificate
  • Possess a working knowledge of medical and dental terminology
  • Additional proficiency with MS SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint
