What You'll Do

In search of a candidate who provides business critical insights that inform and guide the strategic focus and resources of the Supply Chain function to align with Cisco business goals and accelerates results. Through advanced business and financial modeling, as well as cross functional coordination on analysis, you will accelerate decision making toward prioritization, re-balancing and future focus. This role requires both a financial focus on aligning to the most critical company priorities plus maintaining a strong view of day-to-day operations to facilitate flexible rebalance recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Build financial models that translates data into actionable insights and supports desired strategic outcomes.

Prepare and communicate actionable business models with recommendations and risks for leadership stakeholders

Perform ad-hoc analysis to predict, measure, and interpret business trends and to inform key decisions.

Measure business performance progress to defined strategy outcomes

Lead financial and business modeling for existing and emerging strategic opportunities

Research and analyze key business drivers, industry and competitive trends and operating metrics to inform viable future strategic directions

Become an expert in our data platform and how it can be used to facilitate meaningful and actionable analytics

Streamline processes and implement automation opportunities to optimize efficiency for the day to day operations

Who You'll Work With

You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams within supply chain and with other functions and also with business units and/or analysts to understand and help refine requirements.

Who You Are

-Excellent research, business analysis and reporting skills

-Expert with Excel (pivot tables, advance functions, statistics, smartsheets), Tableau, PowerPoint; superior skills with database query tools (e.g., SQL); and a basic understanding of data warehouse architecture are required. Business Model Canvas experience, a plus.

-Proven ability to understand both the business and the underlying data and how the data can be used to surface issues and find opportunities for various business functions

-Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities

-Trust, initiative, integrity and exceptional communication skills are a must

-A strong academic profile with an emphasis on quantitative coursework (e.g., studies in Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Supply Chain and/or Economics)

-4+ years related experience in finance/analytics/consulting
