Description **ROLE SUMMARY**

The Supply chain coordinator role coordinates implementation of the CR changes thru the supply chain group to be implemented at the correct time for the production schedules to achieve objectives, i.e. regulatory compliance, meet plant financial plan and forecast, eliminate back orders, maintain inventory dollar levels at budget, and provide materials for efficient Manufacturing and Packaging operation.


+ Provides supply chain impact assessments and review for all open CR's.

+ Responsible to initiate manage Supply Chain CR's as required.

+ Monitors and coordinates API/excipient changes to be done at the right time and on the correct production batch.

+ Develop tracking of Supply chain PQS, Audit, CAPA's, ect for on time completion.

+ Supports timely new product releases into the market place.

+ Coordinates Pfizer new product launch through Supply Chain process.


+ This position requires 2-3 years of experience in professional level Production, Quality or R&D positions.

+ Excellent knowledge of computer programs and MRP type systems. Good knowledge of total plant operations including but not limited to production, material flow, batch record documentation, quality issues, validation requirements, new products, contract customers and financial implications to the plant.

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work related experience is required.

+ APICS or CPM preferred plus 4-5 years of production, quality or R&D experience required.


The Supply chain coordinator must be familiar with the production environment, quality and regulatory requirements, manufacturing and QA processes, and understand the plant's business objectives and exist in an environment of constant evolving priorities and changes.


Travel is minimal, currently a first shift position, overtime is expected on an as needed basis. Position will be expected to comply with all plant safety guidelines promoting a safe work environment.
