Job Description

PGCS Global innovation lead for QTG, leading the management and execution of Innovation pipeline. Innovation lead for Canada and supporting the Innovation senior manager for North America to deliver innovation to the market.

  • Work with Snr Innovation lead to support and execute the seamless introduction of all new concentrate products for NAB, specifically focusing on:
  • Project management. Utilization of workflow based project management tools (eICE) to ensure all innovation is completed to target.
    • Management and development of actionable timelines and plans for projects launch timing, product cost targets, volumes etc
    • Ensure appropriate Portfolio Pipeline Prioritization
    • Ensure appropriate, timely communication and escalation of all issues.
    • Evaluate New Product launches to determine financial risk and identify potential solutions to minimize risk
    • Early engagement with R&D at the product development stage to influence the product design. Ensure new to PWF components are identified and managed appropriately
    • Manage a network of resources across PepsiCo to support product launch and issue resolution.
    • Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders, including the Business unit and R&D
    • Work closely with local PGCS Supply Chain team to ensure successful execution of projects

  • PGCS Global innovation lead for QTG, leading the management and execution of Innovation pipeline
  • PGCS lead for successful execution of the Innovation Process for Canada

For QTG & Canada, additional responsibilities are, but not limited to:
  • Portfolio pipeline management & portfolio prioritization
    • Global lead for Portfolio pipeline management, linking in with Regional IMs (QTG) to ensure seamless regional execution of project pipeline
    • Lead for portfolio pipeline management for Canada BU
    • PGCS TSG & Business Stage Gate lead for both QTG & Canada ensuring compliance and gate sign off.
    • Manage, influence & educate QTG / Canadian stakeholders (BU & R&D) on project management requirements to ensure successful execution (formulation requirements / timelines / volumes)
    • PGCS lead to support delivery of long term Strategic business plan for QTG innovation globally & Canada
  • PGCS Customer Relationship Lead to resolve all innovation related issues either directly or through leverage of resources within PGCS for Canada and QTG
    • Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders in a virtual environment (eg procurement / tax / SQA / R&D)

  • Responsible for execution of Supply Chain Design for QTG and Canada to ensure compliance with concentrate model requirements
    • Early engagement with R&D at the product development stage to influence the product design which will help optimize the Supply Chain
    • Full scale engagement and execution of a Supply Chain Design Process once product development is complete
    • Identify and agree on project targets launch timing, product cost targets, volumes etc
    • Identify which stakeholder will be responsible for the design and execution of the Supply Chain for each product component. Leverage appropriate skills to solve for Supply Chain issues such as regulatory, Logistics, Tax sign off etc
    • Utilisation of workflow based project management tools to ensure Supply Chain design is completed to target
    • Preparation of final product Supply Chain design with roles and accountabilities for each stakeholder agreed and handed over for execution
    • Support the outsourcing decision making process for PWF as part of appropriate product launch models (Manage / Make).

  • Ownerships of appropriate KPIs and reports to manage performance
  • Support delivery of monthly PGCS Innovation Presentation for Steering Committee


  • Requires Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and influence skills
  • High level of analytical/financial skills with demonstrated ability to use data to identify/prioritize improvement opportunities
  • History of ability to manage multiple projects with various priorities simultaneously with success
  • High level of urgency to deliver results
