As a US Supply Chain Manager at Pfizer you will be responsible for the Market forecast and availability of sterile injectable pharmaceuticals for the US market. Supply Chain Managers own end to end planning of specific portfolios within their market, collaborating with Marketing Managers/Directors and upstream global/procurement supply leads.

Core activities include owning the IBP Process, Forecast, and inventory position via SAP APO, and interfacing with supply sources to ensure patient access to injectable pharmaceuticals. This position will include regular interaction with all levels of supply chain, finance, and Marketing to ensure product strategy, contract changes, market dynamics, and product supply are accurately reflected in the demand forecast and supply plan. This role will also require project leadership skills and team members will be asked to lead at least one process improvement project each year. Integration projects will be in scope for the first 18months, including system transitions and enhanced planning tool rollout. Serving as primary supply chain contact for marketing and finance organizations for both Supply interruptions and Demand projections

Participating and assisting in development and implementation of strategy to service customers in times of product transitions or shortages. Maintain SAP APO projections and monitor system for exceptions, escalate appropriately on identified issues.

Analyzing new business opportunities ensuring that required quantities and timelines can be met from a supply/sourcing standpoint.

Manage the supply projection, inventory holdings, and inbound supply of sterile injectable pharmaceuticals for the US market

Responsible for multiple product portfolios; extracting and analyzing monthly metric results against plan/ forecast and developing recommendations addressing products/areas of concern.

Key leader in the Integrated Business Planning process, developing and distributing monthly reports and analytics to key stakeholders to communicate trending for strategic decision-making.

Leading monthly product group demand reviews with cross-functional stakeholders and communicating results of meetings to all team members and track follow-up items.

Leader of projects and initiatives with both Marketing/Sales and Supply Chain Operations objectives


Bachelor's degree required: Supply Chain and MBA(preferred)

Minimum of 5 years experience in the following areas:

Marketing, Finance, Inventory Management, Production Scheduling, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution or Customer Service. Proven analytical experience with measurable results expected.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience with Microsoft Access or database management experience a plus.

Strong SAP and systems skills desirable.

Statistical forecasting experience recommended but not required.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Persuasive and the ability to lead by influence.

Self starter and be able to provide structured presentations and direction to key leaders


Standard work week schedule

Limited travel- 5-15%
