General Summary:

The PES innovation manager is responsible for leading and participating in Innovation equipment life cycle development from concept to commercialization. They are closely aligned with all functions involved in the design, testing, commercialization, service, service support, and recertification of equipment. The role works closely with the Capabilities team to develop training and support documentation. It also interacts frequently with R&D to recommend equipment design and fixes. The job is technical, project-based and requires flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities and a diverse work load.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to lead and/or participate in cross functional teams to design and execute equipment commercialization support processes.
  • Analyze equipment and service data including feedback from field partners to recommend and influence equipment design and fixes.
  • Evaluate equipment and components (including digital) in design phase and give recommendations to improve field support, lower costs, and improve other life cycle considerations.
  • Assist with preparing field to deploy and support innovation equipment tests in Beta phase.
  • Work with software teams to recommend design, test, and validate software fixes and regular updates.
  • Works with field support teams such as MPR, Call Center, and others to develop and improve old and new processes to support innovation equipment.
  • Provide editorial expertise and authoring of technical manuals, picture guides and other resource manuals.
  • Lead the design and execution of field deployed equipment update and issue resolution projects.
  • Train field partners on innovation equipment installation and service.
  • Provide technical expertise to Sales & Customer Ops on customer installation and conversion projects for innovation equipment.
  • Manages Digital Asset Integration into current PES Supply Chain.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in beverage industry. Fountain, cooler, and vendor equipment experience a plus.
  • Proven experience leading and participating effectively in cross functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and handle deadlines.
  • Flexibility to shift priorities.
  • Strong PC skills including advanced Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to learn reporting systems, including Business Objects and others.
  • Excellent communication, influence and presentation skills.
  • Prior training and materials development experience a plus.
  • Willing to travel on short notice up to 50% .
