Supply Chain Planner / Master Scheduler

**Job Position:** Master Scheduler

**Reporting to:** Supply Chain Planning Lead.

**Position Objectives:**

The objective of the Master Scheduler is to provide an integrated master schedule for a product(s) or manufacturing area(s). This position will interface with supply network, PPUs and other relevant parties to translate demand into an integrated, feasible production, ship and inventory plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Capacity Planning**

+ Prepare timely and accurate capacity, planning, shipping and inventory performance related reports for Plan of Record, KPI and other review purposes internally and externally

+ Responsible for monitoring yield and cycle time performance, highlight issues and impacts such as manufacturing, ship or inventory plan

+ Responsible for Capacity statements; include capacity charts and network statement of capacity

+ Understand and challenge assumptions for capacity, regulatory and shipping

+ Track regulatory pending approvals, align & incorporate regulatory assumptions into build plans, inventory projections and obsolescence/Distressed Inventory

**Master Production Schedule**

+ Ensure Process and Planned orders match in APO PPDS & SNP, R/3, HLS and POR including Rolling Year monthly plan

+ Ensure key material forecasts are correct, e.g. components, intercompany and high value materials

+ Primary interface to supply network planning, PPU operations, quality, tech services, tech ops, ops support, engineering, material supply, finance and others

+ Translate network, customer and PPU requirements and constraints into master production, disposition, ship and inventory plan

+ Drive monthly POR and S+OP review process with PPU & Finance and other key stakeholders; Build, Ship & Inventory plan

+ Manage Budget process requirements: Yield, POR, Success rate, BoM's, recipes, & Inventory

+ Input to quality disposition schedule to meet manufacturing and ship plan

+ Lead and participate in project work related to planning, such as scenario development, production strategy, process order design and new product introduction

+ Interface with PPU and other site functions with regard to planning related issues

+ Represent the customer requirements to the PPU and site

+ Provide planning backup across the site where necessary

**Ship Planning**

+ Ensure ship plan aligns with inventory projections and utilise SAP/APO to provide data

+ Interface with Logistics operations and supply network planning to implement a ship schedule

+ Align ship plan with Customers

+ Manage Budget process requirements: Ship qtys and Number of shipments to each destination


+ Responsible for product inventory and inventory projections and highlight to finance and network planning where inventory projections are off track

+ Ensure no product or purchased material obsolescence due to planning related issues

+ Identify potential obsolescence and low yield impact to finance through distressed inventory and monthly LE process

+ Identify corrective processes with PPU for reoccurring intermediate inventory inaccuracies

+ Ensure timely review and removal of obsolete inventory

+ SBM for Intercompany materials

+ Liaise with material planning - Share POR volumes, and share inventory strategies


+ Utilise, maintain, correct, and develop SAP R/3 planning system, including BOM & recipe, intermediate/HALB/FERT material number setup including correct quality attributes, planning parameter setup, process order accuracy, planning system health, correct demand

+ Utilise, maintain and develop APO and SAP, including master data maintenance and system health and provide expertise in use of system

+ Utilise SAP/APO for mfg., ship and inventory plans

+ Ensure MRP is correct based on manufacturing plan

+ Drive BOM review process, ensuring annual yield, recipe updates and BOM accuracy

+ Responsible for RFT translating and coordinating changes to SAP BOM, Recipe, PV updates


+ Lead and participate in change control, events, investigations, and other compliance activities and audit support related to planning

+ Carry out related duties as required
