Provide sustainability engineering leadership to the North America Beverages Supply Chain by supporting the strategic development and tactical execution across greenhouse gases, water, wastewater and waste projects, infrastructure improvements and productivity imperatives for internal manufacturing in delivering the PepsiCo Performance with Purpose 2025/2030 Agenda.

Main focus areas: Project management and oversight, collaboration with operations, R&D, sector teams, procurement and external suppliers/vendors. Drive standardization and serve as a technical liaison between the plants and HQ teams.

Knowledge and skill requirements:

  • Functional excellence and demonstrated subject matter expertise in utilities, packaging, processing, project management and LSS/TPM
  • Proven project management leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Familiar with advanced finance and product cost accounting
  • Able to manage and track project scope, schedule and spending
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to negotiate with vendors, contractors and consultants
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and data-based approach to decision making
  • Team building skills required to manage and lead cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, results and action oriented. Able to make independent and sound decisions.
  • Computer skills include familiarity with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS project, CAD, SAP and similar software systems


  • BS Degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of seven years of project engineering experience, with a focus on utilities, process/packaging design and project management
  • Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter with good people and communications skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with demonstrated success in influencing at all levels inside as well as outside the company
  • Ability to champion, sell new ideas and actively interact with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at multiple plant locations
  • Ability to provide analysis of options and improvements based on the AOP plan
  • Solid project management capabilities, as position is responsible from concept through process validation
  • Investigate new GHG and water technologies and work to commercialize in the field by exhibiting business and operational leadership skills
  • Position requires up to 40% travel
